Yes, New Mountain AVL is a private club, which means our patrons must become members to attend our shows.

It is easy (and cheap) to become a member! Bring your photo ID, and arrive a few minutes early to fill out a brief form, receive your membership card and sign in. Membership dues are only $1 annually. Members are allowed up to 2 guests.

Already a member? Be sure you have your New Mountain AVL membership card with you! You will need to show proof of membership or re-apply.

We have approx 150 parking spots at New Mountain AVL and generally offer free parking for our events from 6:01PM – 5:59AM, however occasionally we reserve the right to charge for event parking.

Starting April 1, 2015, our current lot is OPEN all day for SOL Bar patrons. Please do not park in neighboring lots posted with No Parking signs.

Amphitheater Show Parking: Parking for outdoor shows is available in the lot adjacent to New Mountain Amphitheater on Carter Street. Cost is $5 per car. Please enter the lot through N. Ann Street. Parking Gates open at 4pm.

Additional Parking can be found in designated street spaces or in the nearby parking garages:

We encourage anyone who plans on drinking to carpool with a designated driver or who has been drinking to call a cab. If you need to leave your car overnight, please let us know to avoid being towed. If you do not let us know, we reserve the right to tow. If you would like to park somewhere else and walk, we are only 2-3 blocks from the heart of downtown.

INDOOR shows are typically general admission and standing room only, unless otherwise noted on the ticket. For most shows there are a few high tables & bar-stools available. Please note these are first come first serve.

OUTDOOR shows in our New Mountain Amphitheater are general admission, but we the front of the stage area for dancing and standing. Outdoor picnic tables are positioned behind the soundboard (located midway from the stage), but additional seating is not provided. No chairs will be allowed into the venue. Early arrival will ensure a great spot!
